CCT Critical Care is designed as supplemental professional reference and workflow support. Our methodology keeps sources, verification duties, privacy boundaries, and platform limits close to the feature they govern.
Never delay patient care while using the app. Independently verify all patient facts, values, units, concentrations, calculations, indications, contraindications, device settings, and recommendations against current authoritative sources and controlling clinical direction.
Unknown means unknown
Unsupported or insufficiently specific IV and Y-site compatibility information fails closed. Silence, related concentrations, drug class, or another administration method are not treated as evidence.
Verification is part of the workflow
Scanner output, imported information, calculations, facility designations, and nearby results remain unverified until a qualified professional compares them with the original source and current authoritative information.
Platform boundaries stay explicit
Native iOS medication content is static reference material and does not accept patient-specific medication inputs or generate patient-specific dose, volume, rate, or weight-based medication results. Supported Android paths may provide transparent calculations.
Optional AI requires consent
Before each optional cloud-AI feature first transmits selected content, the app identifies the data, recipient, and purpose and requires affirmative consent. Users can decline or withdraw future permission.
Patient identifiers stay out
The app is not an electronic health record or secure clinical chart. Do not enter, photograph, import, or upload patient identifiers, faces, account credentials, or other protected or confidential information.
Calculation transparency
Show the work wherever a result is supported.
Interactive results keep units attached and expose governing formulas, entered values, conversions, uncapped results, applicable minimums or maximums, and rounding before the displayed answer.
Every output still requires independent verification and use within lawful scope, current protocol, and medical direction.
